About the Speaker
Pam Webb, RN, MPH, CIC, is an independent consultant with expertise in infection prevention (IP) and quality improvement. She managed the IP program at one of the largest health care facilities in Montana for over 23 years. She has infection prevention experience in a variety of healthcare settings including acute care, critical access, long term care, dialysis, hospice and home health care. She contracts with MT DPHHS and the Mountain Pacific Quality Health Foundation to provide NHSN training and data validation, IP program assessments and IP educational activities.
Pam is a co-founder and active member of the APIC Montana Chapter. Pam has participated in many national and statewide collaborative improvement projects that focus on reducing risk for healthcare associated infections. She has presented to local, state and national conferences on a variety of infection prevention topics. Pam has a passion for infection prevention and enjoys mentoring new Infection Preventionists.
