Event Details

On March 5, 2018, the American Red Cross of Montana and the community of Great Falls will gather to discuss people sheltering in times of disaster. The gathering, organized as a tabletop exercise, is aimed to provide discussion-based training and education to participants on the topic of people shelters. By convening partners, the discussions may also help identify unmet needs in resources, services, systems, and procedures which, after corrective action, will make the community more prepared to establish people shelters.

The agenda includes:

  • 0830 - Tabletop Exercise Participant Registration
  • 0900 - Exercise Briefing
  • 0930 - Tabletop Exercise Module 1
  • 1030 - Break
  • 1045 - Tabletop Exercise Module 2
  • 1145 - Lunch

A functional shelter exercise, scheduled separately, is planned after the mid-day lunch.
